Devon wedding photographer

If you’ve landed on this page you must be planning your wedding in Devon and searching for the right wedding photographer for your day.  I am a well established Devon wedding photographer working in a documentary style. This means that I will spend the whole day with you from getting ready in the morning right through to the last dance. I focus on capturing the special moments and the many emotions of the day with only a few posed shots. My unobtrusive way of working will leave you free to enjoy your incredible day without any fuss or time spent setting up long lists of family photographs. As you can see below I like to work creatively with light to capture the essence of your day, all the laughter and fun, the beautiful details as well as the intimate and romantic moments.

I have created this page to guide you through some of my favourite Devonshire wedding venues and to give you an introduction to my work. If you are interested in seeing more of my work or contacting me to discuss your wedding plans there are links to my website, portfolio and contact forms at the bottom of this page.

Castle Venues

Devon boasts not one but two excellent castle venues. Bickleigh Castle is a popular venue for that grand romantic feel to your day. Based in the peaceful Devonshire countryside this beautiful castle is located in the Exe Valley providing a quiet rural setting for your wedding. The Great Hall is a perfect space for the ceremony with historic features and vast windows allowing lots of natural light. For a traditional church wedding there is a choice of nearby churches or for an outside ceremony you can choose to marry on the beautiful riverside lawn. Powderham Castle is a truly historic venue, one of the oldest castles in Devon. Based near Exeter the castle is surrounded by stunning grounds with views over the River Exe as well as a Deer Park and beautiful gardens, perfect for some romantic shots. You can enjoy exclusive use of the castle to hold your dream wedding.

Colehayes Park

If you are looking for a traditional feel from your wedding venue Colehayes Park exceeds expectations. This beautiful Grade II listed Georgian Mansion sits in around 20 acres of stunning countryside on the edge of Dartmoor National Park in Devon. With accommodation on-site including Cork Tree Cottage to the rear of the property, this venue can cater for all your needs and really is a special place.

Something a bit different ?

Tunnels Beaches on the North Coast of Devon is a spectacular venue for your wedding reception. Hand carved tunnels through the cliffs provide access to a private, secluded garden overlooking the sea and beach with coastal views to Lundy Island. You can choose to marry within the thatched gazebo, in a bespoke building or even in the tunnels themselves! A terrace, bar and function rooms ensure you can give your guests a party to remember. Needless to say I love this venue for all the amazing photography opportunities and the North Devon Coast provides a stunning backdrop to the day.

You will put so much time into organising your wedding, you need a Devon wedding photographer that will work just as hard to capture all the moments that matter. As you can see from my portfolio I observe what is happening and document it using natural light where possible to create beautiful, emotive photographs. We can arrange a time for portraits in the evening but apart from that I just capture the wedding exactly how it happens. It does not matter how big or small your wedding will be or where it is,  I would just love to be there.
