Hi, I’m Warren a Devon wedding photographer working in a documentary style, this means that I will spend the whole day with you from getting ready in the morning right through to the last dance. I focus on capturing the special moments and the many emotions of the day with only a few posed shots. As you can see below I like to work creatively with light to capture the essence of your day, all the laughter and fun, the beautiful details as well as the intimate moments.
Wedding venues in Devon
I have created this page to guide you through some of my favourite Devon wedding venues and to give you an introduction to my work. If you are interested in seeing more of my photography or contacting me to discuss your wedding plans there are links to my website, portfolio, and contact form at the bottom of this page.
Bickleigh Castle
Devon boasts not one but two excellent castle venues. Bickleigh Castle is a popular wedding venue in Devon for that grand romantic feel to your day. Based in the peaceful Devonshire countryside this beautiful castle is located in the Exe Valley providing a quiet rural setting for your wedding. The Great Hall is a perfect space for the ceremony with historic features and vast windows allowing lots of natural light. For a traditional church wedding, there is a choice of nearby churches or for an outside ceremony, you can choose to marry on the beautiful riverside lawn.
Powderham Castle
Powderham Castle is a truly historic venue, one of the oldest castles in Devon. Based near Exeter the castle is surrounded by stunning grounds with views over the River Exe as well as a Deer Park and beautiful gardens, perfect for some romantic shots. You can enjoy exclusive use of the castle to hold your dream wedding.
Colehayes Park Devon wedding venue
If you are looking for a traditional feel from a superb Devon wedding venue Colehayes Park exceeds expectations. This beautiful Grade II listed Georgian Mansion sits in around 20 acres of stunning countryside on the edge of Dartmoor National Park in Devon. With accommodation on-site including Cork Tree Cottage to the rear of the property, this venue can cater to all your needs and really is a special place.
Tunnels Beaches
Tunnels Beaches on the North Coast of Devon is a spectacular venue for your wedding reception. Hand-carved tunnels through the cliffs provide access to a private, secluded garden overlooking the sea and beach with coastal views to Lundy Island. You can choose to marry within the thatched gazebo, in a bespoke building, or even in the tunnels themselves! A terrace, bar, and function rooms ensure you can give your guests a party to remember. Needless to say, I love this venue for all the amazing photography opportunities and the North Devon Coast provides a stunning backdrop to the day.
Devon wedding photographer
You will put so much time into organising your wedding you need a Devon wedding photographer that will work just as hard to capture all the moments that matter. As you can see from my portfolio I observe what is happening and document it using natural light where possible to create beautiful, emotive photographs. We can arrange a time for portraits in the evening but apart from that I just capture the wedding exactly how it happens. It does not matter how big or small your wedding will be or where it is, I would just love to be there. If you like my style as a documentary wedding photographer and you feel a connection with my work then please get in contact using the online form below.

Thank you for your time.
